Every Home Owner’s Nightmare - My newly finished apartment flooded!
Get this... last summer I woke up to every homeowner's worst nightmare - the sound of water dripping and spattering in my newly remodeled apartment.I’ll never forget the dread I felt awaking to that sound at 5 am.
Minutes later, after a quick call to a friend, I was on the roof adjusting tarps and pulling the rubber into place. I learned a valuable lesson about proper tarping and unpredictable weather!
That morning, we filled half of a 30-gallon trash can with water, but we stopped the leak quickly and dried everything out without long-term damage.
Now that I'm sitting on the other side of the completed project it feels great. And I can truly say, “it was worth it.” There were times during the project when I wasn’t sure I’d reach this moment.
If you’re in the middle of your own project or thinking about starting one and feeling overwhelmed, we can help with contractor referrals.
We’ve Got the Connections.
Clients often call me for contractor recommendations for various issues—a blown water heater, basement problems, or a leaking roof.
When we were working on repairing that roof, I vividly remember the first day materials were lifted by Carlson's crane, and felt a wave of relief knowing we were soon about to have a well-fixed roof.
These home challenges are part of life, and it may take time to save for repairs or fully understand an issue and make the right decision for your family.
When we help you buy a home, it’s more than just a transaction. We know that home repairs are a big deal, and we're here to help you when those needs come up. We’ve got an extensive list of trusted contractors we can refer you to when the time comes.
